It can prove you ability and professional. So you try to get a certification. In my case, I'm preparing dangerous industrial engineer, because my major is chemical engineering, so I deal with dangerous material. If I get a dangerous industrial engineer certificate, I can be approve as a chemical engineer. So I recommend to get a cetificate relating major. I've explained major, language, certificate.
