Programming is the most important skill a person should learn to be successful in the world today for two reasons. First, learning programming can teach how to do computational thinking. Computational thinking is to think effectively. Steve Jobs said that everybody in this country should learn how to program a computer because it teaches you how to think. We have to develop a skill distinguish useful information and solve problems optimally. Second, anyone can be both consumer and producer of information at the same time today, since everything is associated with a computer. If you master programming, you can make anything with your creative thought, and help people by using your computer technology. Therefore, programming is the best way to be a producer and change the world.
