Hi Cam, i always appreciate your teaching and helping. When I heard a phrase "You can say that again." i can(can or can't ,which is right???) understand what it means because it looks irony in korean view. I am just curious how the phrase came from :-) However, there is famous annual firework festival close to my home so we can not go out home. I'd like to have a yammy dinner but i can't do.so saaaad talk later. bye

I do appreciate you also being so kind and respectful student of mine..;0) Anyway, about your question with the expression "you can say that again", it is indeed a bit ironic, your right.But commonly it means YOU SAID IT or I TOTALLY AGREE WITH WHAT YOU SAID..or on the other hand, you can also give them the opposite, depending on your example. But like what ive told you, its a case to case basis..
