I am writing to ask something to you. First of all I thank your correction. My questions is about sentence which you corrected. My father had worked as Health and Welfare department official for more than 30 years. -> My father works. Actually the reason why I used “had worked”was because my father retired before about 10 years ago. Then I wonder if“had worked”was right in that sentence. This is today’s my writing. Thank you.
