About the preposition of time-

In- is used to unspecific times during a day, month, season and year.

On- is used to specify days and dates.

With answering \"yes or no,\" always anwer with complete sentence like, \"Yes, I am redy to go out.\" or \" No, I don\'t want to eat dinner.\"

Just be sure to answer in complete sentence.
