(Grammatically, the sentence is correct, but putting the sentence the way I suggested would make the sentence sound better. The error was on the arrangement of words, anyway it is not a major error.)
You just corrected this way though what I really wanted to know was why I can\'t use \"OF\" in this case.

(Actually, you can use \"of\" in that sentence in this way : \"The theme of my thesis..\"  )

it means exactly the same if I translate in Korean so I hope you to explain the rule or the diffrence of the nuance..

(Nuance is a synonym of difference.)

( The use of prepositions \"of\" and \"for\" even in English is a bit confusing. In some languages, there is no exact translation for both.)

However, I researched the function of each preposition to help us both.

The preposition FOR is used to indicate the use of something; to mean because of; and to indicate time or duration.

Examples:This place is for exhibitions and shows.

She has been studying hard for the final exam.

I am so happy for you.
