I guess it could be changes in taste – what looked cool at 20 might not feel the same at 40 or 50.
As I mentioned before, Professional or social situations – some workplaces or cultures- are still strict about tattoos.
It also depends on the culture of each country. Even if persfective of getting tattoo in Korea has been converted in a positive veiw, there still have been a lot of the elderly who are strict and negative of getting tattoo.
