Students may be affected more than adults, and they will not choose well, but choose president only by candidate’s party. Last semester, I took a politics class, and the teacher of that always said about a particular party, so students can be easily brainwashed who don’t know much about politic situations. Therefore, they will become like the party following their parents or teachers. It doesn’t mean ‘the right for voting’, but ‘just for increasing the number of voting people’. Besides, students also think that someone who appears a lot on TV is friendlier rather than other candidates. Mass media can be very large factor for students at election. Voting has meaning when they choose one by their own decision. It is meaningless if voting is influenced by other things.
