Schools are institutions for the teaching of children under the directions of teachers. They not only educate students for self-improvement, but they also educate students for the development of citizenship. Children shouldn't be able to decide whether they can go to school or not because children don't exactly know the importance, benefits, and value of education. They're not mentally developed to decide whether they should go to school or not. Children would volunteer to go to school to enhance the development of social and moral responsibilities, if they realize the importances and the benefits of education. If children are allowed to decide to go to school, most of the children would obviously refuse to go to school. Based on this, children won't be able to develop social skills and seize their own happiness. Moreover, the society will be badly weakened and conflicts will become a matter of frequent occurrences among nations.
