Should children have the same religion as their parents'.

Theoretically, we are living in a world and time that individual’s freedom of belief is to be respected and protected. As such, children have their own rights to choose their religions regardless of what religion their parents believe in. However, we have learned from history that many wars have broken out due to the conflicts in religion. Likewise, different religion of each person in a family could cause discord and a serious problem. Indeed, we have seen that many couples have failed to end up getting married due to different religion. Even after getting married, religious and cultural differences usually take a lot of heat as one of the top reasons for divorce. Many times such problems really do not exist at all, but when other factors push the marriage towards its demise, religious differences unfortunately get thrown in the mix and many times are blamed. In many cases, religion does become a distancing factor in family problems, so family members should have the same religion.
