I don\'t think the tax encourage people eat more healthy. I think the higher tax isn\'t the main motivation of desire. For example, in Korea, the government increased tax of cigarette, but people still smoking a lot. It doesn\'t helpful. Also, increasing the price causes people\'s resistance. I think the government decrease the price of healthy food. In fact, it\'s more expensive to buy healthy dieting than fast food (junk food). The price of vegetable is higher than frozen food and convenient food such as ramen. Therefore, if the price of healthy food is lower than junk food, people naturally buy healthy food.

Hi! I really enjoyed reading your answer today. You expressed your ideas clearly, and I can see that you thought carefully about how pricing affects people’s choices. I especially liked how you used real examples, such as cigarette taxes in Korea, to support your opinion, that made your explanation more convincing. You also showed great insight when you suggested lowering the price of healthy food instead of increasing the price of unhealthy food. That’s a smart and practical point. Keep sharing your thoughts this way, your ideas are getting stronger and more logical each time!
