Should people always be loyal?

I absolutely don't agree that sentence. Yes, Fo living well in social and the work place, we have to be loyal. But not always. I think must have the self-confidence and to have it, we have to have a strong belief. If we lost our belief just obey the senior's rule, we might be lost ourselves. Also, to develop our own career we have to persuade other not obey them. Especially in democracy country, we don't need to follow other or nations rule(it doesn't mean ignoring the law). If we don't like the rule, and there in a reasonable reason to do not follow the rule. And infringe on someone's rights, we can strike to the government. So, we don't need to be loyal.

I agree with you when you said, loyalty does not necessarily require unconditional support. Sometimes, we have to be very assertive and careful with whom we should be giving out our loyalty to. In addition to that, before giving out unconditional support,  we should also weigh if the decision made by a person in a situation conincides with our core values.
