Expanding scholarships and incentives can attract more foreign students to study in Korea. However, it can raise fairness issues among Korean students. This is because most Korean students turn into loans to pay tuition and living costs. On top of that, attracting foreign students is not enough to help global reputation and economy of Korea. The outcomes matter more. It is important that how well foreigners can be after graduating South Korean university. There can be how much research and thesis that foreigners can register in global journal. Also, there can be how well foreigners can have a job in Korea and move to the global market. Accordingly, I believe that it would be more beneficial to support foreign students financially and academically. It is important for foreign students to settle into Korean without financial concern but also it is essential for these students to success in academia and professional fields to be a successful alumnus for universities’ reputation.
