Should you tell your loved one that he/she is terminally ill?

It is a bit serious issue to discuss whether or not you will tell your loved one that she/he has a terminal illness and eventually will die. Medical experts say that you let him/her know of his/her fatal condition in advance so that he/she can prepare for the rest of his/her remaining life even if his/her time remained is remarkably short. It sounds reasonable and makes sense perfectly. For some terminally patients, the grim news can be beneficial and help them prepare, but for others, the truth can be devastating. Personally, I think that I would not tell anything especially if he/she has to be in the hospital until his/her last moment.It would not be helpful at all for him/her to recover or to cure his/her illness. Rather, it would only make him/her feel frustrated and give up his/her life unless he/she is strong enough to confront his/her biggest challenge. If he/she could walk and do some activities for himself/herself out of the hospital, then I might consider reveling it.
