The Korean government was obliged to review the project\'s feasibility through a preliminary feasibility study for projects with more than 50 billion won in government funds. Thus, the planning fields in Korea focus on the estimation of pre-feasibility fields. For example, the economic evaluation methodology of individual railway projects has been developed consistently. Still, before-after studies such as economic development, land price fluctuations after completing the project have been neglected in Korea. Furthermore, the direct effects of a particular project are easily considered in economic analysis; however, the portion of indirect effects is easily excluded due to difficulties in measuring and evaluating them.
