Studying English

I have been studying English for over 10 years. But I am not good at it. When I studied it in highschool , I didn't have any purpose but passing the exam. Since few years ago , I have got reason to study English. First , for getting a promotion. If I have a some grade in English test , I will get an additional point in my carrer. Secondly, I want to meet foreign friend and go to other countries without any difficulties. That's why I study English. When I read a English newspapaper loudly ,it feels really good. But sometimes I hate myself when I got a bad result in an English exam
