taxes are the price we pay for living in a "civilized society"

I agree that the taxes are the price we pay for living in a "civilized society".
If we don't pay the taxes who build the infrastructure such as the road, water and sewage, safety, and even managing money. All the infrastructures are built based on our taxes.
Sometimes we think where the taxes are gone, especially these days we think most of the taxes that we paid are going to all in the politician's pocket. When we get the pay stub we say "what the hell this taxes!!!". Because we don't believe the government use our taxes in right time right place.
Anyway, which is good or bad, we have to pay the taxes for well living.

A great day to you [이름]! ^^
Thank you for writing in our composition board.
Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. said: “Taxes are the price we pay for civilization.”Taxes put out fires, keep our streets safe, ensure our food and water are safe, create legal safeguards for businesses and employees, provide parks.
In other words, it provide us benefits every hour of the day and every day of the year.
Past generations paid taxes for what we have today like schools, hospitals, courts of law, roads, public transit and parks.
Our taxes today allow us to pass along those benefits to future generations which could possibly be our own children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
If we ignore, shortchange or postpone funding for social, economic and environmental problems today,
the solutions will become more expensive in the future.
It\'s just sad that while we religiously pay our taxes, some people from the government steal and mismanage them.
I know how you feel because most of the politicians in my country are corrupt.
They steal the money they didn\'t work hard for and don\'t give what the people deserve.
While it is true that our taxes ensures a comfortable place to live in, its mismanagement could also be the reason for the people to stop paying their taxes.
I hope you have a wonderful day [이름].
See you again tomorrow.
Take care always.
