Tell about something you wish had never happened.

I wish it had never happened that I had to serve the military. If I couldn't help it, I should have chosen to do it for a short period of time. The fact that I served as an officer rank made me do the service for more than twice amount of time than those who choose to do it as a soldier rank. Moreover, ordinary Korean men serve in the ranks while taking a time off from college, meaning that they have a place to come back after finishing it. But, it wasn't the case for me. I had to be engaged in the world in the most unprepared way because there wasn't a place for me to come back after the military service. I wish I had a chance to serve the military in a way that gives me a relevant professional experience to help me find a decent job after being done with it. I wish I'd be more informed of what the consequence of the particular choice I made would be to better understand what will happen next. Then, I wouldn't be under much pressure to be employed to get a sense of belonging.
