The best is yet to come. Do you agree?

I think this is an interesting question. On one hand, we have present-moment awareness. The very real fact is that, no matter what we do, there is only Now. But on the other hand, we have the fact that we are always becoming. Just as an acorn becomes a sapling and becomes a mighty oak tree, we are becoming the best version of ourselves. Every experience that we've been through, every hardship we've endured, every love that has moved us, has brought us closer to touching a deeper knowing of who and what we are. Patience is a virtue. Good things come to those who wait. There can be no other way to see this life (and those that have come before. A balance of knowing that today is always the best day ever, and that now is all we ever have. Yet also seeing that now is infinitely becoming now, now, now, now.... And we can count on this to some degree, but we shouldn't count on it so much that we skim through the present moment in the hopes that we can get to the better side of best.
