The best mistake you have ever made

I am not sure whether I can say it was a mistake or not, however, it’s quite obvious that I could change my attitude since I had the incident. It happened when I played tennis many years ago. When playing tennis, we usually play doubles and you get paired up with somebody. On that day, during the game, I talked to my partner a lot about how his play was wrong especially when he made an unforced error. I sometimes kept my head down and made few sound out of disappointment because of his poor play. The match went on and at one point he tried to lob, but the ball was not high enough and being smashed by the opponent. I talked to him that he should have lobed the ball to the other side. He immediately yelled back to me all of sudden saying “no more nagging. It is enough.” He was so upset and talked to me that I also made many errors and my play was not that good, either. Since the incident, I made up my mind not to advice my partner of anything when I play tennis.
