Right before the pandemic started to spread, my 7 friends came to my second house in Heongseong, Gangwon-do.My friends stayed for one night and two full days. They liked our house out of red clay and especially loved the traditional ondol system. They were lying on the heated floor to relax their bodies. At night we enjoyed drinking and chatting. Next morning we hiked a mountain near my house. They still remember that vacation and miss the food during that time. Especially they miss potatoe pancakes and rice cakes out of potatoes.
