When I was in the Phillippines, I got a curture shock because I could see many police officers with a large gun. I could meet armed police officers whenever I stopped by bank or big department store. Sometimes, armed police officer can also be seen in a small mart. I think they guard the buildings against the security such as terrorism or robbery because the Phillippines is a gun-holding country. Therefore, I was scared first time but I felt relieved.
