the population in Korea is about 50 millions, after this mark \"M\", as of 2015/12/31.

The population was 13M in 1910 , at that time Korea was unified nations , south plus north.

The population of south Korea in 1945, independent year, was 16M.

After that time it was was gradually increased greatly up to 50M as of 2015year-end.

From in 1955 to 1963, more than about 1M was born every year, we call them \"1st baby boom generation\".

It is beacuse 6.25 war between south and north Korea from in 1950 to 1953, was accompanied by the victim, many innocent peoples.

It was because The increase of population is able to let country\'s economy grow economy through increasing labor power and consumption.
