The importance of reading

It cannot be too strongly emphasized that reading is important to expand your knowledge and to sharpen your skills. Especially for young kids, reading will be the basic nutrient they have to take to grow to be a person of great dignity. Shamefully I read only a few books a year because of the time constraint which is my typical excuse. I used to read a novel or an essay when I was young, but I now am more drawn to read business related books like leadership, marketing, HR management, etc. because my current job requires me to obtain in-depth knowledge and skills about such subjects.
