The Memory of Chinese lantern Plants

When I was a little girl I had a younger brother and we are very happy with each other. In the corner of the back yard Chinese lantern plants were growing. After their white little flowers had withered there were tiny balls on the top of it and growing until they grew as big as marbles. When they were still green, the taste was bitter, but after fully ripened to be in red color it became a little bit sour and sweet and edible. This time we picked to plait them all and hang them under the roof. we played with them making toys. having torn its cover and holding the pieces together, it looked like a bare headed baby monk and was so cute. we competed to make it pretty.
