There are some changes in thinking of marriage. In the past,most people thought that marriage should keep if couples promised to keep their marriage in the front of their family,relatives and friends. That\'s why many people had to stand their worsened marriage life so that they didn\'t break their family. However, nowadays few people sacrifice themselves to keep their marriage as unconditionally as their parents did.

If we are going to think about it, as you explained in class, nowadays a lot of people believe in equality, and women are now more empowered, so some of them prefer to pursue their careers and would rather not depend on their husbands. I also think that divorce being acceptable is one of the reasons why people don’t endure hardship, because they can get out of their marriage and still be accepted in society.
