The bar chart shows amount of annual hours devoted to work per labor force in 2019. The graph has provided by OECD and it has utilized by the Korea Herald.
Seven nations are ranked and South Korea shows the most working hours(1,967) among them. The next ranking country is Canada and the gap between two countries is about 300 hours. The third highest country is Japan and the total number of annual working hours is just a little less than the second largest country(Canada). The rest of the countries belong in Europe; UK, France, Germany, and Denmark, from top to bottom. A Korean employee works approximate 600 hours(on average 2 hours per day) more every year than a laborer in Denmark.
Overall, a Korean worker\'s day constitutes of a large proportion of working much more than other countries across the world.
