\"To have a good friend, you need to be a good friend\". What does it mean?
학생이 쓴 원문
As the old saying goes, a friend in need is a friend indeed. I believe that all relationships including friendship come to fruition when both sides fulfill their reciprocal obligations as a friend, a partner, a couple, you name it. Therefore, we need to be good friends to have good friends although all friendships are full of ups and downs. However, friendship can last if there is trust for each other and a strong desire to recover friendship as they did before. So if your friendship fluctuates, don’t forget that it is trust that develops your friendship more strongly.
Sometimes ironically, after arguing or fighting each other badly, some people get attached to each other and get along well afterward. This is true of me. One of my close friends became a good friend after fighting each other.
No matter how their friendship starts off, the thing is how you maintain and develop your friendship more than ever.

Beginning your composition with a quotation, which in this case was an old but familiar saying, was pivotal to your engagement with reader because it\'s relatable for a lot of people. ^^ A friendship is truly no different from any other relationship, for it also has its own ups and downs as you mentioned. :) Thank you for your answer and for including an example from your personal experience as well.
