A wonderful Tuesday morning, my dear!   Eight out of ten? Not bad at all! Remember that adjectives modify nouns and pronouns and adverbs modify verbs, adjectives and other adverbs. In sentence number four, the word awfully modifies the word still which is an adjective. Thus, it is an adverb. And in sentence number seven, the word perfectly modifies the word heard which is a verb so it is an adverb.
