There might be a background why he said that, unless this is a bit hard to understand to me. When I imagine this, tourism could be the easiest way to feel and learn about other’s culture, and then, it could make us understand each other.  Nowadays, there are many conflicts between ethnics, religions, or countries. Every society has reasons why it is distinguishable based on history, regional climate, and geopolitical differences. However, the others’ characteristics are not easily accepted until you go there and feel them with your skin. You cannot know everything about them through one travelling, but you can start to get a favourable mind. Moreover, as you are trying to be generous to someone, you can also get a similar mindset to others. Therefore, tourism could become a key to solve a lot of current social problems. Nonetheless, I’m a little skeptical. Because many types of tourism are focused on just entertainment whatever there is regardless.
