There are many traditional values in my country, and these are observed to preserve the local culture. I would like to talk about the traditional New Year\'s Day based on the lunar calendar. On New Year\'s Day by the lunar calendar, many relatives and family members get together to prepare food and ask after each other how they are doing recently. They make various food such as Korean noodles, dumplings, rice-cake soup. People prepare plenty of food and fruits in preparation for a lot of guests coming. The lunar calendar was more reasonable in the past when ancestors cultivated mainly rice and vegetables based on the lunar calendar. On New Year\'s Day, ordinary children give greetings to their elders and receive words of blessing and money as a present. After greetings, they give their ancestors commemorative rites. Lastly, people get together and have a great time playing traditional games like Yutnori, which is the game played by throwing four sticks.
