I think it depends on the aim. If someone think that the success is making a lot of money. However, he achieves his goal if he can't earn a money he might think I'm failure. On the other hands, if he set his goal to get a personal fulfillment, he earn much money but doesn't feel personal fulfillment, he might feel failure. Someone say that earn much money, the fulfillment is naturally following. However, another person says even though we can't earn money we keep doing something with fulfillment, the money will follow. Personally, I prefer the last one.
