Hello Erine! My parents live in the city 70km away, a little farther than 40 miles, from where I live. When visiting my parents, I usually take a train. There are some alternative ways going there, including driving my own car, taking an intercity bus or taking a train. Driving myself would be the best in the sense that I can leave at anytime and from anywhere I want. Therefore it takes the least time among the options. The cost, however, would be the highest. Taking intercity buses or trains costs less and provides comfort travel. I can also save my time by taking a nap or reading a book during commuting. But securing seats is sometimes very competitive in busy hours. Travelling without a seat makes me quite tired. My choice overall is taking the train because I don’t have a car for now and my home is closer to the train station than the bus terminal. Moreover, I like to watch the suburban areas through the window and take a rest when travel. Thank you! See you tomorrow!
