Q. What other ways could you think of to greet people?
When I greet people, I usually say hello verbally. However in a quiet situation or in a brief encounter, I exchange nods with the other person.
Also in a formal situation, such as greeting customer in a shop when working, or meeting someone who is in a high position, I bow down for greeting.
