What are some of the main reasons people get divorced?

I think that people get divorced mainly due to different expectations from each other.Before getting married, people make a lot of efforts to look attractive, to be nice, respectful, care his significant other. However after getting married, people simply stop putting efforts into making and maintaining the good relationship. Whereas people’s expectations are still high that they expect their spouses to be much nicer and sweeter than before the marriage. For instance, a wife expects his husband to financially contribute a lot, help her clean a house, be a good lover, and a good father as well. However, most men change after getting married. They don’t do any house chores, neither be a good husband. When expectations aren’t met, it can put a strain on the relationship. This leads to a personality conflict because one or the other spouse won’t bend to sacrifice their time and comfort. We all have different needs and wants. If your partner doesn't fulfill them, you'll be disappointed.
