I think there is no something which do not give as gifts in Korea. But when someone has an examination for University enterance, whoever do not give a slide things. For example seaweed soup. Most of korean think Someone who eat it will not pass the test.
So we give a sticky thing as gifts like a yeot(hard and sweet chunk made of sugar).
