Many people travel abroad easily nowadays. It is because traveling abroad is easier and cheaper than before. People can use an airbnb instead of expansive hotels, and ones can use very high quality internet accessing tools like google map.
Also, ones have enough time to travel far away nowadays. I was able to have only 5 days a year for summer vacation in my office just several years ago. Even though I had enough money, I was not able to travel long distance. However, this trend was changed, so workers can have long vacation and a long trip.
When I was traveling Japan several years ago, I experienced a very interesting restaurant. The inside of the restaurant was like a library and customers sat on the table with partition. There was a ticket machine instead of employees to order. I ordered food through the machine and I ate dinner on the small table. The restaurant was really silent. Japanese enjoyed to eat alone. It was interesting. I though that a restaurant for one person was a unique in Japan. However, similar restaurants was landed in Korea before long.
