In Korea, there is a bear called ‘Bandal-gom’ which is protected by country. Because they are left only few.
Bandal-gom have been killed and traded illegally for a long time by people who want to get healthy without any common sense. Especially, the bear’s liver was the most wanted part for them.
Therefore, a regulation about protection for an animal in extinction was made in 2005. Since then, after all, the number of this bear have been growing slowly.
