I think there are some differences.
First of all, Korean students are very quiet in the classroom.
The students say something about their topic when they are forced to say something by their teacher.
It is hard for the teacher to recognize that their students understand about the topic or not.
I think US students discuss their opinions freely in the classroom.
Second one is their attitude when they are late for their class.
Korean students usually try not to make any sound and to get their sit quickly.
But US students kindly say hello to their teacher first.
