What are the good and bad things about voting?
학생이 쓴 원문
Most people hate politics. Politicians always say that they will dedicate themselves to making a better place and to serving citizens. However, the reality is that politicians seem to only fight for grabbing power and their own interest, and their party’s own sake. Some critics are saying that most elections is usually just to pick the lesser of the evils. It seems to be true. But not voting is not a simple matter. In an election, every single vote counts. A choice between two candidates is still a choice and it is better than not to vote. Voting does make more of a difference. If we do not vote, nothing will change. If we vote, will anything be changed? Not much, but a little change can start from our participation. People choose not to vote out of reasons other than laziness and apathy, it is no excuse for passing on a civic responsibility and the chance to directly affect our life and our government. I'm of the opinion that if we don't vote, we forfeit our right.
