What are the most important things your parents taught you?

My parents have already passed away but my memory on them is as vivid as yesterday, especially sometimes I still think about my mother. She passed away 5 years ago when she was 92 years old. She alway said her children including me to live frankly not to deceive others. I recognize after her death that her word was based on her religious belief. And also I repect my father, but unfortunately he passed away at the age of 65. He affected me in many ways of my life. He taught me to live hard and do your best for anything. He also told me to keep the faith to others. I deeply kept in mind his word of "the Faith", so I set up the word of "the Faith" as my family's motto.
