What are the reasons why do people easily give up to a challenge?

Challenges require a lot of effort such as patient, knowledge, believe, time and etc These things are making a tools that possible challenge. Generally people are give up when they are making a tools. Because suddenly something happens such as doesn’t have much time, money, ideas and etc. However a few people succeed. I hope to challenge succeed too.
