What are the things that people have to give up when they have children?

When I was living alone before getting married, I sometimes felt lonely when I got home, especially when I opened the door of my vacant house. I felt like air inside the house was different from the house that family resides in together. Actually air itself could be a little bit cooler only in the house that you live in alone than the house of your whole family. The real difference is the atmosphere. When there is no one who is waiting for you when you come home, you might feel like you are in an uninhabited island. When you look out the window in the darkness on the 18th floor of your apartment late at night when your town is quiet and sleeping and there are only a few lights on the ground, you naturally become a philosopher. You will contemplate life and death, your existence, destiny, and your future. You can indulge yourself in whatever you are into such as reading or developing your skills, and so on. However, when you get married, you will just become a member of secular society.

Good afternoon, Sir [이름]!

I totally agree with the things that you wrote below.

I felt that way when I lived in Manila, away from my family.

I even celebrated my birthday alone. During that time, I was thinking about going home.

But I realized when am I going to learn how to be independent if I always stay with my parents.

So I did a lot of things to make me busy.

We also need sometime to be alone especially after a long busy week.

I appreciate that you shared a lot of things in writing today.

See you. Have a great weekend.
