What are your opinions about tattoo and piercing?

I personally think it\'s okay about meaning tattoo and piercing. In my case, I\'m debating whether to get a tattoo or not for a friendship with my old friend who has been known for around 20 years. I believe it could make us more close than so far. But excessive things that I don\'t think so.
