What causes some young people to have a negative self-image?

Negative self-image results from multiple aspects.

 It could be caused by education, bully, family environment, social media and pressure, internal hormonal imbalance etc.

 For the young people, I think specially, the social media and environment are main causes.

 Since we live in highly connected society, we get touched by media in every second.

 The young people, at that age, consider that to be admired and qualified by others is very important and surely it\'s important to have a self-confident in a long terme.

So they turn into social media to boast about who they are and what they are by comparing with others.

This competition turns them down when they are not well demonstrated in the media and in the consequence, they have negative image on them.

 At that point, the environment like parents, friends, or teachers, have to take a important role which can shows the young that they are more valuable than they think about themselves.
