What do you do when you see someone in danger?

When i see someone in danger, I call the police or firehouse. Carelessly I try to help a people in danger, I also can be dangerous too. Lately it\'s getting people who don\'t want to help other people. We have these proverb \'I saved him but he ask me to give a his bag\'. My mean was good but taker didn\'t know. So I don\'t want to give direct help.
