What do you think is the worst thing that can happen to you in a foreign country?

I think that many dangerous situations what I expect can be occurred when I'm in a foreign country. The main reason is that I cannot communicate with another person there compared to my country due to my pool language. In addition, it is difficult for me to perfectly understand the culture of the country. Except for two reasons above, there are can be many factors make me dangerous. What is the worst thing that can happen to me in a foreign country? I can think that two situations. Firstly, if I were in another country as trip, losing passport would be the worst situation because without passport, I would not be able to come back my country. Secondly, if I moved to foreign country and lived there, being involved in crime such as kidnap would be the most worst thing that could happen to me. Since I might have trouble communicating, it would be undoubtedly difficult to call a rescue. Depending on people, the situation is different. But to me, two circumstances above are the worst.
