What do you think K-pop will be like in the future?

Truthfully, I lost my interest in K-pop. These idols are really looking good. Their songs are also attractive when I appreciate them with their choreographies, but much less catchy by themselves. To further explain the reason, most of them have a similarity, like the songs exist only for their performances in my view. That’s why it is possible to think that K-pop might lose current popularity soon or later. However, its invasion on the world still stays on the early stage. There are more people who have never felt the attraction of K-pop. Additionally, there is another potential to widen the colour of K-pop. OTT services open the door to K-dramas to go out abroad. They start appealing their unique and exotic entertainment amid the pandemic. They contain more various genres of Korean songs beyond K-pop. Therefore, foreigners could find something different in them and this could contribute to strengthening Konean songs’ competitiveness and finally make more various streams of K-pop.
