I think those who attack for the attack in their social life are the inferior. Defending to the point of need, hiding their genuine weapons or emotions behind, is a wise way to live a social life. A quote is understandable in the same vein, “An iron hand in a velvet glove.\" This means being gentle in appearance, but sturdy in spirit and I think this mindset will be greatly helpful to reduce our stress and live a leisurely life.
