\'The call of nature\' is used when we want to go to the toilet. Physiological reaction of body is the natural thing, therefore I think this expression is used. Korean doesn\'t have similar expression, so when Korean want to go to toilet, they have to use little bit direct expression. Japanese have another polite expression, but this expression is too much polite. So even Japanese don\'t use frequently and just women use.
